Goose Strike

As reported, the Cessna was only doing about 85 kts. (98 mph) when it hit the goose.  The goose was seen diving straight down.

In some safety articles, it's been reported that birds generally handle collision avoidance fairly well with planes of 100 mph or less.  Commonly, they dive for collision avoidance.
