Twin Ercoupe

These two pictures of the Twin Ercoupe were sent me by Martin Fleischhauer as sent to him by a friend. I'm trying to find out where and when the photos were taken though it was indicated they were recent.

Percy Wood wrote about the pictures: "They are very recent, Ed. They are taken at the "Used Ercoupe Lot" in Tucumcari! Stan is cobbling them together as a lawn ornament."

It was specially built (modified) for the Thrasher Brothers Air Circus and flown in air shows by Grady Thrasher and his brother who looped, rolled and spun it.

According to AVweb, Skip Carden is selling a DVD with a copy of the original military color films of the JATO tests. The AVweb entry says the DVD also contains footage of the “Twin Ercoupe.” Contact him through http://ercoupe.org
